DJP Tightens Taxpayer Monitoring Ahead of Year-End to Boost

Indonesia’s Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) is intensifying targeted monitoring of both individual and corporate taxpayers as the year draws to a close. The aim is to boost compliance and prevent any tax that might be missed.
Director General Bimo Wijayanto said DJP is applying micro‑management by compiling lists from all regional offices, pinpointing the biggest revenue potentials, and assessing each taxpayer’s filing and payment compliance. The agency can then decide on guidance or legal enforcement as needed.
