DJP Pushes Q4 Revenue, Sweeps Potential Taxpayers Nationwide

Senior Treasury Ministry adviser Yon Arsal said the fourth quarter is the most challenging period for the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP). In the last three months of 2024, DJP collected about Rp550 trillion, while the remaining target of Rp781.6 trillion raises concerns of a possible shortfall.

The government is also reviewing tax policy for the film industry, planning more favorable incentives for domestic productions.
