Central Java II Tax Office Seizes Defaulters' Assets Worth 3.2

The Central Java II Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (Kanwil DJP Jateng II) seized assets of 24 tax defaulters from 13–17 October 2025 at the Klaten Tax Service Office. The seized assets are valued at IDR 3.2 billion.

The seizure comprised 38 items—36 motor vehicles and two land parcels—serving as collateral for tax arrears totaling IDR 25.1 billion. Tax Enforcement Officers (JSPN) from 12 tax service offices carried out the action after notices, warning letters and compulsory collection steps.

The assets are now under state custody; defaulters have 14 days to settle the debt, after which the assets will be auctioned via the official .id portal. The measure aims to boost tax revenue and reinforce fiscal compliance.
