Boyolali Tax Office Seizes 3 Cars, a Motorcycle and Land Worth

The Boyolali Tax Office seized three cars, one motorcycle and a parcel of land from a company that owed Rp1.19 billion in taxes on 24 October 2025. The seizure was carried out simultaneously within the Central Java Tax Region II. The confiscated assets are now under state ownership.
The action relies on Law No 19/2000 on Tax Collection with Forced Notice and Regulation No 61/2023 on Tax Collection Procedures. It followed the standard collection steps, from warning letters to a forced notice, but the taxpayer showed no good faith. The State Tax Enforcement Officer stated that the assets serve as collateral for the tax debt.
If the tax arrears and collection costs remain unpaid, the assets will be auctioned via the official .id portal by the State Asset and Auction Office in cooperation with the tax office. The head of the Boyolali office emphasized that the measure aims to enforce tax justice and create a deterrent effect. This reflects the tax authority’s commitment to ensuring compliance.
