Balikpapan City to Send PKB Tax Notices and Launch Vehicle Raids

Balikpapan city in East Kalimantan will issue District Tax Bills (STPD) to vehicle owners whose PKB is due. The notice serves as a reminder to settle the motor vehicle tax.

Taxpayer data was obtained from the Samsat Batakan office, and a dedicated BPPDRD team will deliver the STPD directly to each registered address. This “door‑to‑door” approach is aimed at simplifying compliance for taxpayers.

In addition to the notices, the city plans joint raids with Samsat Batakan and the police to boost tax compliance.
