Coordinator Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said on 6 November 2025 that Indonesia aims to achieve a 5.2 percent gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate by the end of 2025. He made the statement at a press conference in Jakarta. The target focuses on the fourth quarter, which he described as decisive for reaching the annual average.

The government plans to accelerate stimulus measures, including a social assistance program worth Rp30 trillion and an expansion of the People's Business Credit (KUR) scheme to a total of Rp50 trillion. So far, around 800,000 borrowers have received KUR loans averaging Rp50 million each, amounting to Rp40 trillion already disbursed. These actions are intended to boost household consumption and business activity.

According to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the economy grew 5.04 percent year‑on‑year in the third quarter of 2025, driven mainly by household consumption and fixed‑capital formation. The quarterly performance is slightly lower than the second quarter but still above the same period in 2024. Maintaining this momentum could help Indonesia meet the 5.2 percent target, supporting consumers and enterprises.
