Tax Authority Warns Taxpayers of Fake Coretax Links

Indonesia’s Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) issued a warning on Tuesday, 28 October 2025, urging taxpayers not to fall for fake links that claim to be the Coretax system. The scam pretends to offer a downloadable Coretax application, although no such official app exists.

The official Coretax platform is reachable only at and has been in use since 1 January 2025 for filing the 2025 tax year returns. DJP advises taxpayers to scrutinize any messages containing links or apps and to use the SPT simulator provided for corporate taxpayers at A simulator for individual taxpayers is slated for release next month.

The alert aims to safeguard taxpayers’ data and to keep tax filings within the authorized portal. When the personal simulator becomes available, individual taxpayers will be able to file their returns more securely.
