The National Nutrition Agency (BGA) responded to circulating rumors of a personal incentive of Rp5 million for Nutrition Program Implementation Units (SPPG) that produce viral content for the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program on social media. The statement was made during the Coordination and Technical Socialization Meeting for MBG on Monday, 27 October 2025, in Jakarta.

According to the Head of Legal and Public Relations, Khairul Hidayati, the incentive claim is not an official decision but a spontaneous joke intended to motivate participants. BGN confirmed there is no policy or program that provides personal rewards to creators of viral content.

BGN reaffirmed its commitment to implement policies in line with state budget mechanisms and to strengthen public communication strategies. Concrete steps include training regional and area coordinators in producing credible content to ensure the MBG program’s information remains transparent and accountable.
