Mojokerto Announces Tax Penalty Waiver Oct 1–Dec 31, 2025

Mojokerto Regency in East Java has launched a tax penalty waiver program. The scheme covers local taxes such as PBB‑P2 and other regional levies. It is effective from 1 Oct to 31 Dec 2025.

Tax Office head Nurul Istiqomah said the initiative lets taxpayers settle arrears from 2013‑2025 without incurring penalties. She linked the timing to Heroes’ Day, noting that paying taxes is a modern form of heroism. Payments can be made via banks and e‑commerce platforms like Bukalapak, Shopee, Tokopedia, among others.

Removing penalties is expected to boost tax compliance and increase regional revenue, strengthening Mojokerto’s fiscal independence. The online channels also make it easier for residents to participate before the 31 Dec 2025 deadline.
